Disinformation - Let's Do It by Iain Frisk published on 2012-08-24T12:40:21Z Disinformation was one of my first bands, we used to fool around with punk and rock, and generally have lots of fun. There are things I would do differently, but overall Let's Do It was a lot of fun to make in a short space of time. Our first and only album. The idea was to create an album that was catchy and easily reproduced as a three-piece live, as well as easy enough for someone to pick up and jam along to at home. Whilst the sound was quite "brit rock" centric, I didn't want all the songs to sound the same, so you can hear influences of hard rock (Rebound), prog (Semaphore, Unknown), pop (Bomb, Propeller), punk rock (Money, Take it on the chin) and slightly heavier sounds (Bleed On, Munchausen). The album was recorded in May of 2006 with myself on main vocals and guitars, Chris Heald on bass and Franco Smith on drums.
